BUILT FOR AI AGENTS
A CMS your AI agent can work in
Most CMSs were built for people clicking through forms. Typeroll was built so that an AI agent and a person can work on the same site: the agent through an MCP server and API, the person in a visual editor, both with the same permissions and the same drafts, previews and publishing steps.

What the MCP server gives your agent
- Content: Pages, blocks, Content types, Page templates, global blocks and reusable block templates
- Design: site settings, Styles, design tokens and custom block types
- Media: uploads, alt text and responsive variants
- Review: private previews, publication checks and page completeness
- Publishing: deploys and their status, when the account may publish
- Migration: imports, URL inventories and redirect checks
- Recipes: step-by-step skills such as
tr-new-site,tr-migrate-wpandtr-seo, loaded only when needed

Safe by design
- The agent signs in with OAuth or an API key and gets exactly the access of that account or key.
- Writes to pages land in drafts first; saving and publishing are separate.
- Versions (branches) let an agent work on a larger change without touching the live content.
- Every change is visible to people in the same editor.
Connect in a minute
Hosted endpoint: https://app.typeroll.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP with OAuth). Local alternative: npx -y @typeroll/mcp-server over stdio.
Client pages: Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, ChatGPT.
Built for agents to read, too
Every Typeroll site publishes llms.txt next to its sitemap, and the documentation has llms.txt and llms-full.txt for agents. Every page also has a Markdown version for agents.
Honest status
Typeroll's automated checks exercise the MCP server and OAuth. Version-specific end-to-end tests in each named client are not yet recorded; the client pages say what is documented by each provider.
GOOD QUESTIONS
Questions and answers
Is this different from the built-in AI assistant?
Yes. The assistant is a chat inside the editor for everyday content changes, using your Organization's Anthropic key. MCP is for your own agent, in the client you already use.
Can the agent publish by itself?
Only if the account it uses may publish, and only when asked. Drafts, saving and publishing are separate steps.
Which clients work?
Any client that supports MCP Streamable HTTP with OAuth, or a local stdio process.
