Use Typeroll with ChatGPT
ChatGPT can work on your website's pages through Typeroll's hosted MCP server, where your plan and workspace allow custom MCP apps.
Connect ChatGPT
ChatGPT connects to remote MCP servers only, so use the hosted address. Custom apps need developer mode, and which plans may use write tools changes over time.
- Open Settings → Apps → Advanced settings and turn on Developer mode.
- Select Create app, name it
Typerolland enterhttps://app.typeroll.com/api/mcp. - Choose OAuth sign-in, then sign in to Typeroll and select Allow access.
Confirm that editing and publishing tools are available before you rely on them: access to a connector does not establish that every tool is enabled.
First prompt to try
List my Typeroll sites, then read the home page of the one called "…" and suggest three improvements. Don't change anything yet.
Ask for a read-only answer first. When the plan looks right, let the agent build on a branch and show you previews.
What to know
Typeroll's automated checks exercise its MCP server and OAuth. A version-specific end-to-end test in this client is not yet recorded; the steps follow the client's own documentation, checked on 1 November 2026.
