Move from Wix to a site you host
A Wix migration recreates your content in Typeroll; it does not move the Wix application. Your AI agent rebuilds the pages as editable blocks, moves the images and keeps every URL working.
What can move
Public page content the agent can retrieve, or text, original images and source material you provide. The agent creates Pages and Content types and uploads the media.
Wix layouts, animations, forms, bookings, stores, memberships and app behaviour do not carry over by copying visible content. Plan replacements for the functions you still need; forms can be rebuilt with Typeroll Forms.
The steps
- Give the agent the source address, the page list and any text or images it needs.
- It reports pages it cannot read before creating replacements.
- It rebuilds a representative page as a draft for review on desktop and mobile.
- It transfers images and recreates forms separately.
- It keeps paths where practical, creates redirects for the rest and checks each old URL.
- You publish and test before changing the live domain.
