MIGRATE FROM SQUARESPACE

Move from Squarespace to a site you host

Your AI agent moves the content of your Squarespace site into Typeroll: pages become editable blocks, images move to your own storage, and every old URL keeps working or redirects.

What can move

The agent reads accessible public pages, extracts text and structure, transfers reachable images and creates pages. Existing paths are kept where possible, and redirects are recorded for paths that change.

Layouts, galleries and repeated sections are rebuilt with blocks, templates and Styles. Forms are rebuilt with Typeroll Forms. Commerce, member areas and scheduling need separate replacements; they are not transferred by copying pages.

The steps

  1. The agent inventories the home page, sitemap and internal links.
  2. It imports one representative page as a draft for you to review.
  3. It imports the remaining pages, rebuilds galleries, forms and navigation, and records redirects.
  4. You review text, headings, alt text and the mobile layout.
  5. You publish to your own accounts, then move the domain.

Keep the Squarespace site available until the content and media are verified.
