Images sized for every screen
When a site is published, Typeroll makes AVIF and WebP versions of every image at 320, 640, 1024 and 1920 pixels and at the original width, without ever upscaling. Visitors get the version that fits their screen.
Unchanged images are reused between builds, and uploaded originals are cached for a year.
FAST FIRST PAINT
The first screen comes first
The first two content images load at once with high priority, and later images load as the visitor scrolls. A background image in the first section is preloaded, and fonts load without blocking the page.
Pages are static HTML served from Cloudflare.
