FEATURES · EXTEND

Dynamic features on a static site

Extensions add blocks and admin pages from an external app, and Forms collect submissions without a server of your own. The website itself stays static.

EXTENSIONS

Add an app to your site

An Extension lets an external app add blocks and admin pages to a Typeroll site. The provider keeps its code, backend and data in its own cloud.

Once it is installed, editors add its components to a page like any other block.

How Extensions work

Two ways to run

A bundled component is copied into the site at build time and checked against its hash. An embedded app runs in a sandboxed frame on the provider’s own domain.

Declared up front

Each release has a manifest that declares its permissions, components, API and events. Published versions never change.

You approve the scopes

Admins approve the scopes when they install an Extension, and new releases never widen them on their own.

Build your own

FORMS

Forms with an inbox

Contact forms and multi-step funnels work on a static site: validation, partial saves, a submissions inbox, email notifications and webhooks.

Extensions can submit into the same Forms, so a lead tool needs no backend of its own.
