## How a migration works

### 1. Inventory every URL

Sitemaps, internal links and search data list every address the old site answers, so nothing is forgotten.

### 2. Rebuild as blocks

Pages are rebuilt as editable blocks. One prototype per page template is checked before the rest are imported.

### 3. Move the media

Images on the imported pages are transferred into your own Cloudflare R2 storage.

### 4. Check every old address

Before the domain moves, a parity check requests every old URL on the new site and reports anything that would break.

### 5. Switch without downtime

Prepare the domain change, verify the new address, then switch traffic, with a way back to the previous DNS.
