# Use Typeroll with Claude

Add Typeroll to Claude as a custom connector. Claude can then build pages, edit content and prepare publications in claude.ai and Claude Desktop, while your team keeps using the visual editor.

## Connect Claude

1. Open **Customize → Connectors**, select **+ Add**, then **Add custom connector**. On Team and Enterprise plans an owner adds it under **Organization settings → Connectors**.
2. Enter the name `Typeroll` and the URL `https://app.typeroll.com/api/mcp`, then select **Continue**.
3. Sign in to Typeroll and select **Allow access**.

The remote connection is made from Anthropic's infrastructure, so a self-hosted portal must be publicly reachable.

## First prompt to try

> List my Typeroll sites, then read the home page of the one called "…" and suggest three improvements. Don't change anything yet.

Ask for a read-only answer first. When the plan looks right, let the agent build on a branch and show you previews.

## What to know

Typeroll's automated checks exercise its MCP server and OAuth. A version-specific end-to-end test in this client is not yet recorded; the steps follow the client's own documentation, checked on 1 November 2026.

**Does my agent see all my sites?**

A remote connection acts with your account and lets the agent choose among the Sites you can access. A local stdio process is bound to one Site.

**Is the connection free?**

The MCP server is part of Typeroll CMS and Typeroll Cloud. Your AI client has its own plan.
